What an exciting time in my room right now! We have teeny tiny caterpillars that my students are observing and documenting how they grow. They are beyond excited about it turning into a butterfly but they aren’t too impressed with the caterpillar poop (who knew caterpillars poop???).
This is one of my guys recording his observations, the caterpillar is in the little cup in front of him. |
This is one of his wonderings! So neat…. |
We are using this Freebie from Susan at T.G.I.F. You can find it in her store on here on TPT.
Lastly, I found this idea for a mother’s day booklet on Pinterest. It’s from this crafting website. So we started making ours today:
This is not one of ours, I’ll take some pics of the final products when they’re finished. |
I was thinking of doing something else to go with this booklet but I’m still undecided! There are so many great ideas out there and THANK GOD for Pinterest! How did teachers survive before Pinterest?
What are you lovely teacher peeps out there doing for Mother’s Day?

I'll be honest, I had NO idea caterpillars poop, although I guess that makes sense. I can't wait to hear about them as they turn into butterflies. What an exciting time in grade 2!
