Today was a lazy Saturday. I did make it to the gym for the first time all week and managed to get the groceries but otherwise I am pooped from the first week of school!
I do have some snapshots from this past week to share for Snapshot Saturday with Run Miss Nelson’s Got the Camera. There were a lot of firsts in the last few weeks!
The boy had his very first hair cut courtesy of Daddy this past week! Here is the before shot:
And then daddy took the clippers to his head:
Here is the after! No more hair in his eyes!
First Day of Kindergarten for my little missy.
Got our All About Me posters hung up on my new student work bulletin board! I am so in love with using clothes pins and ribbon. It takes much less time to hang the work and it doesn’t put staple holes into their work either! Thanks for the idea mom!! (mom also hung the ribbon for me, isn’t she great!)
We also got into some ABC order for word work, they did really well!:
Check out Miss Nelson’s Blog for other Snap Shots and add your own!
If you’re interested in any of the products used above you can just click on the images.
I also finished my Fall Pumpkin Counting Book. It’s a simple book that I made for my students so I could check how well they recognize the numbers 1-20 and whether they can color in that number.
