I’m linking up with A Classroom Full of Smiles to share how my class is working on the character trait of Kindness!
Our school focuses on a different trait each month and 2 classes are responsible for presenting that trait to the whole school. Well, this month was my class and our big buddies.
Our students came up with an acrostic poem for the word Kindness:
We then made this fabulous slide show of our students showing acts of kindness. I had the poem written up on different slides so that it played through the slide shows as well. I put Cyndi Lauper’s, “True Colors” as the background music. I wish I could share it with you because it turned out great but there were too many student photos.
We celebrated hundreds day the other day and my class decided we would complete 100 acts of kindness for the month of February. We will be writing each act on a heart shaped paper and attaching it to our kindness sign (pic to come at the end of February.
And of course, the Olympics are HUGE in our school right now! As I mentioned in an early post we had a door decorating contest so I thought I would share a few of our doors!
