“Would you Rather?” is a fun game to play both in and out of the classroom. I created a fun digital presentation to use as a first week of school ice breaker activity. This activity could be used in class as a socially distanced ice breaker or even as a distance learning ice breaker. You can find the link to my Would you Rather Questions for the classroom below.
Digital Would You Rather Questions for the Classroom:
This digital Would You Rather slide deck is made for use with Google Slides(TM). You can use my questions or create your own. I included an editable slide that you can personalize. You can also delete my Bitmoji and then add your own in.
I plan to use this as a physically distanced ice breaker along with my other digital back to school activities. I will have students stand up for one option and stay seated for the other option. That being said, this could also work well for a distance learning ice breaker. Then I will select a few students to explain their choices. I think you will find their responses interesting.
Distance Learning Ice Breaker
This Would you Rather slide deck could be used in distance learning by sharing your screen or by reading the questions out loud. Then you can have students respond in the chat or hold up one finger for the first option and then two fingers for the second option. You can then have a few students explain their responses.

If you’re looking for more ways to be physically distanced in the classroom using Google Slides then check out this post. I also have many distance learning resources that can be found here.
